Jonathan Bregel: Flatface
To me, fingerboarding is kind of a magical thing. It's so simple in a way, yet has made so many positive things happen for so many people; connected so many people. It's really more than just a tiny skateboard, it's a life, a passion, and something that brings us together.

This documentary really highlights that. Created by filmmaker Jonathan Bregel, he discovered Mike's youtube channel, saw everything that was going down with Flatface, and decided to make a video about it. Perhaps that's also thanks to the digital age we live in, but I think the fact that things like that can happen is awesome.
"Flatface are one of the cornerstones of fingerboarding, no one can deny that"
The documentary is a great watch, informing about the roots of Flatface and showing where Mike lives - with some tricks thrown in for good measure. It's not a crazy long video, and perhaps technically wont wow us like some fingerboarding videos, but it does what it wants to do very well. Flatface are one of the cornerstones of fingerboarding, no one can deny that.

Whether you have been fingerboarding for years or only just discovered it, I think this is a great watch. Huge props to everyone who helped put it together, it's a glimpse to the back scenes of big fingerboard companies we don't see too often and it's really nice to watch. Props Jonathan!
